**Note: All non-authentication bypass servers in our network support both IPv4 and IPv6. Web Clients: If you need a web client, IRCCloud is preferred.

At this time, there are no iOS clients in active development. Mobile Clients: For mobile clients, we recommend IRCCloud for all devices. If you want a regular client: AndroIRC for Android devices. We do not support mIRC or any clients older than 2 years and do not support both SSL and SASL. Client Optionsĭesktop Clients: While there are umpteen desktop clients out there, we recommend HexChat or AdiIRC, and both are open source, free clients. Note: If you have tried to connect within the last 60 minutes and have been unable to do so due to time out, Connection reset by peer, Connection refused, or Connection closed by host, use the Authentication Bypass settings and wait 60 minutes to try and reconnect. To use this, you must have a NickServ account registered with a valid, permanent email address, and you must use SASL to connect. Port: 6697 Authentication Bypass Connection If you wish to read more about this decision, you can do so here. Your client must be capable of using TLS (SSL) to connect to Cuff-Link. TLS (SSL) OnlyĬuff-Link does not allow plain-text connections. We recommend using one of the downloadable clients vs. a webclient.

We have a variety of options for coming to join us to chat, but all of them involve an IRC Client of some sort.
