However, the way you reach the finish line is by standing atop (and jumping between) a herd of trucks that are careering out of control. The aim is simple – reach the finish line without touching the ground. I do not know what difference may be in it, but it´s the first dump of the disc, which was not modified! I am not sure which differences this build have against the released builds but I guess it´s a great offer. The dump was gave to me a long time before the "leaked builds" was released. This dump is not the "vanilla build" or something like it, it is the 100% original 1:1 dump of the original disc.Īn old friend was the head of the group which made the prototype in modded version available outside the owner.

From what I can recall, it needs a dummy file to pad the disc.

The download comes in two pieces, one is the data files and the other is the demo menu. The main ELF and data file are both dated at 12th or 13th of March 2002 (03/12-13/2002), just over a week after the US release, or approximately 5 months before the final PAL release.

The download is a modified ISO to boot straight to the demo, running the debug ELF.įrom "PS2 Bonus Demo 03" is a demo of "Project Zero", released as "Fatal Frame" in non-PAL territories. One is a debug version of the demo's ELF, with a debug menu accessible by pressing "Select" the other is a non-working, unstripped ELF, featuring the labels of the functions.
Although similar, if not the same, as other PAL demos, this has two ELF files otherwise left unused that were taken out of later demos. I've done some collecting of (PAL) PS2 demo discs and come across some interesting demos.įrom a disc known as "Selector Demo 01", of which (surprisingly) no information exists on the internet, is this demo of Ico.
